These generators are robust and reliable. They are equipped with the latest generation of Honda GX engines, digital AVR and a large tank. This means that the EG generators offer you improved power quality, reliability and long running times.
The Digital AVR (D-AVR) is a further development of the AVR and is used for the first time in the EC power generator models. This represents a decisive improvement over the conventional AVR and provides a much smoother, more effective power output for the sensitive electronic equipment and offers stable voltage. This makes flickering lighting a thing of the past, making the units ideal for emergency work at night.
Honda EM 5500 CXS:
- Quality, clean power: The EM 5500CXS delivers power using Honda Intelligent Auto Voltage Regulation (i-AVR). This provides smooth voltage regulation that can respond to load fluctuations of any kind.
- Convenient operation: EM 5500CXS features Honda Idle Control, a unique system that detects rising loads, but quietly and constantly adjusts the speed without you noticing a drop in power. When less is needed, the engine speed decreases, saving fuel and money. They also have electric start and transport wheels as standard. The EM 5500CXS can be equipped with the universal override switch, which automatically regulates the power supply at your home by switching from power supply to generator as needed.
- Auto choke: The intelligent auto choke system automatically adjusts the starting flap to ensure optimum starting and running performance in all situations.
- Electric start: Electric start with key control, for effortless operation. (All models also have a manual start).
- Transport wheels: Smooth-running and stable transport wheels allow easy manoeuvring by only one person.
- Extended run time: Model with larger fuel tank, for longer continuous operation.
- Improved anti-vibration system: Our 45° mounted rubber mounts provide superior vibration dampening compared to industry standard straight mounted rubber mounts.
- Low oil protection: Prevents damage to the engine by automatically shutting down if the oil level falls below a safe level for operation.
